Downton Horticultural Society Autumn Show

4th - Saturday - 2 pm

In the Memorial Hall, free admission, refreshments including cream teas available. Show schedules available from committee members.

Downton Society Coach Trip to Brighton - OPEN TO NON MEMBERS

9th - Thursday - 8.30am

Time: Coach leaves White Horse at 8.30 am, returning to Downton at approx.
7.30-8 pm

Trip open to non members, £35 including guided tour of recently renovated Pavilion,with free time for lunch and to explore Brighton. £33 for OAP's. If you wish to just purchase the return coach ticket £21 or £15 for each child accompanied by an adult.

AUDITIONS for St Laurence's Church Musical 'The Nativity'

9th - Thursday - 8pm

Please come along and audition for our musical drama that will be performed, in St Laurence's church, on 25th-27th November 2010. We have a great technical team in place and terrific plans! We will be performing a version of Tony Harrison's The Nativity from 'The Mysteries'. The musical takes the familiar story From The Beginning to Bethlehem. Very intriguing!

Goose Fair - St Laurence Parish Church

Michaelmas Goose Fair in St Laurence Church with 'Come to the Fair' parade from Downton Primary School starting at 10.30am.

Behind the Scenes of Movie & TV Stunts

2nd - Saturday - 3pm

Behind the scenes of film and TV stunts Movie & TV Stuntwoman Elaine Ford - Salisbury's own 'Bond' girl and Eastenders' Tiffany double is coming to share her work and experiences with us. Followed by a workshop in front of the audience. Finishing with a hot meal guaranteed to match the experience!
