Barford Day Centre

The Barford Day Centre meets every Wednesday in the Baptist Hall and is the place for older residents to enjoy a chat with tea and biscuits, scrabble, cards and a home cooked lunch accompanied by a glass of sherry or orange juice. The Day Centre clients enjoy people coming in to show plays, singing and bingo, amongst other activities.

The Day Centre is always looking for volunteers and drivers or if you know a relative or friend who might enjoy the Day Centre, please call Susan Barnhurst-Davies for more information on 510035.

The Downton Society and Moviola

Start 2009 with films showing on the third Saturday of the month

Starting on January 17th and then on February 21st, March 21st, April 18th, May 16th and June 20th. Watch out for posters around the village for details of the films. Tickets will be available before the film screening in the Cottage Loaf. Bring a cushion to sit on and enjoy the film!
